The fine print, in plain words
Welcome to The Corner Store! "We", "us" and "our" mean The Corner Store. We run this website and everything on it: the products, content, features, tools and services (together, the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service, plus any policies we link to, explain your rights and ours when you use the Services. Please read them properly. They cover legal things like warranties and liability, and yes, those bits matter.

By visiting, shopping or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If that doesn't work for you, please don't use the Services.

1. Access and account
You need to be at least 18 to use the Services. If you let someone under 18 use them on your devices, you're agreeing to these Terms for them too.

To browse or buy, we may ask for details like your email, billing, payment and shipping information. Please make sure everything is correct, current and complete, and that you're allowed to share it.

You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything that happens under your account. Please don't transfer, sell, assign or license your account to anyone else.

2. Our products
We try hard to show our products accurately. But colours and finishes can look different on your screen, depending on your device and settings. We can't promise a product will look exactly like the photos or renders on the site, or match what you pictured in your head.

Every piece is 3D printed, so small variations in colour, texture and visible layer lines are normal. They're part of how these things are made, not a defect.

Product descriptions can change without notice. We may discontinue any product, and we may limit quantities by person, region or order.

3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a deal only when we confirm it, and only after we've received and processed your payment. We can decline any order for any reason. If we decline, change or cancel an order, we'll try to reach you on the email, billing address or phone number you gave us.

Everything is made to order, so we may not be able to cancel once an order is accepted. Please check your order carefully before you submit it.

Returns and exchanges are covered only by our Returns & Refund Policy.

Your purchases are for your own personal or household use, not for resale or export.

4. Prices and billing
Prices, discounts and promotions can change without notice. You pay the price in effect when you place your order, as shown in your confirmation email. Unless we say otherwise, posted prices don't include taxes, shipping, handling, or customs and import charges.

Our prices may differ from other stores, online or physical. Promotions may come with their own terms, and if those clash with these Terms, the promotion's terms win.

Please give us current, complete and accurate payment and account details, and update them if they change, so we can finish your order and reach you.

By paying, you confirm that (i) the payment details you give are true, correct and complete, (ii) you're allowed to use them, (iii) your payment provider will honour the charges, and (iv) you'll pay the charges at the posted prices, including shipping, handling and any applicable taxes.

5. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. We aren't responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processing, or anything else outside our control. Once we hand your parcel to the courier, ownership and risk of loss pass to you.

6. Intellectual property
Everything on the Services belongs to The Corner Store, our affiliates or our licensors. That covers our trademarks, brand names, logos, original text, displays, images, graphics, product photography, and the way they're designed and arranged. It's all protected by Indian, U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

Some of our products are physical versions of 3D designs made by other creators and found on platforms like MakerWorld. We produce them under the licence each designer has given. We don't own those underlying designs. Buying a product gets you the object, not the design file, so please don't copy, 3D print, share or remix the design yourself.

You can use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only. Please don't reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or send any of our material without our written permission. Nothing here gives you a licence to any patent, trademark, copyright or other intellectual property owned by The Corner Store, Shopify, any designer, or anyone else. Using the Services without permission may break intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly given are reserved.

Our names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of The Corner Store or our affiliates or licensors. Please don't use them without our written permission. Shopify's names and logos belong to Shopify, and all other names and logos on the Services belong to their owners.

7. Optional tools
We may give you access to tools built by third parties. We don't monitor or control them. They come "as is" and "as available", with no warranties, promises or conditions of any kind, and we don't endorse them. We aren't liable for anything arising from your use of them.

You use these tools at your own risk, so please read the provider's terms first. We may add new features or tools in future, and they'll be covered by these Terms too.

8. Third-party links
The Services may link to or embed things from other websites. We don't check or vouch for their content or accuracy. If you click through, you do so at your own risk.

We aren't liable for any harm or damage from using third-party sites, or from buying or using anything on them. Please read their policies before you engage, and take any complaints or questions about their products to them.

9. Our relationship with Shopify
Our store runs on Shopify, but when you buy something, you're buying directly from The Corner Store. Shopify isn't responsible for any part of your purchase, including any injury, damage or loss from products or services you buy.

By using the Services, you release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities related to your purchases from us.

10. Privacy
Personal information we collect is covered by our Privacy Policy, and some of it by Shopify's Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you confirm you've read them.

Shopify hosts our store, so it collects and processes information about how you access and use the Services. What you submit is shared with Shopify and with third parties, some of whom may be in other countries, so we can serve you. Our Privacy Policy has more detail.

11. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews or other content (your "Feedback"), you give us a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, copy, edit, publish, distribute and display it in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use. For example, we might use it to run, improve and promote the store.

You also confirm that (i) you own or have the rights to your Feedback, (ii) you've told us about any payment or perks you received for it, and (iii) it follows these Terms. We don't have to keep Feedback confidential, pay for it, or reply to it.

We may, but don't have to, monitor, edit or remove Feedback we consider unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or that breaks anyone's intellectual property rights or these Terms.

Your Feedback must not violate anyone's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary rights. It must not be unlawful, abusive or obscene, and must not contain viruses or malware. Please don't use a fake email, pretend to be someone else, or mislead us or others about where your Feedback came from. You're responsible for what you post and how accurate it is. We take no responsibility or liability for Feedback posted by you or anyone else.

12. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Sometimes a typo, mistake or gap slips in, on things like product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We can correct these, update information, or cancel orders affected by an inaccuracy at any time without notice, even after you've ordered.

13. Prohibited uses
Please use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them, directly or indirectly:

(a) for any unlawful or malicious purpose
(b) to break any international, national, state or local law, rule or regulation
(c) to infringe our intellectual property rights or anyone else's
(d) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage or intimidate our team or anyone else
(e) to send false or misleading information
(f) to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or reuse any material that doesn't comply with these Terms
(g) to send ads or promotional material, including junk mail, chain letters, spam or similar
(h) to impersonate any person or business
(i) to do anything that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services, or that we decide could harm The Corner Store, Shopify or other users, or expose them to liability

You also agree not to:

(a) upload or send viruses or other malicious code that could affect how the Services work
(b) reproduce, copy, extract, sell, resell or exploit any part of the Services
(c) collect or track other people's personal information
(d) spam, phish, pharm or pretext the Services
(e) use any robot, spider, scraper, data-gathering or extraction tool, automatic device or process, AI tool (such as agentic AI), or automated or manual means to access the Services
(f) interfere with or get around our security, authorisation features, robot exclusion headers or other access controls

We can suspend, disable or end your account at any time, without notice, if we decide you've broken these Terms.

14. Agents
14.1 This section ("Agent Terms") applies if you use, allow, enable or cause an Agent to access or interact with the Services. An "Agent" is any software or service that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action for, or on the instruction of, a person or business, and that can run on someone's device without direct supervision.

14.2 An Agent may use the Services only if it identifies itself and follows section 14.4 at all times. No Agent may use the Services if we've asked it to stay away.

14.3 We can limit whether and how Agents use the Services, including through technical measures.

14.4 Agents must: (i) say they're an Agent in every HTTP/HTTPS request, by putting "Agent/[agent name]" in the user agent string; (ii) not hide that they're an Agent, including by mimicking human behaviour or completing or getting around CAPTCHAs or other measures meant to tell humans from computers; (iii) answer truthfully if asked whether they're a human or a computer; and (iv) not dodge any measure meant to block, limit, change or control how Agents use the Services.

15. Termination
We can end this agreement or your access to the Services (or any part of them) at any time, at our discretion and without notice. You'll still owe anything due up to the date of termination.

These sections keep applying after termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and anything else that by its nature should survive.

16. Disclaimer of warranties
Information on the Services is for general purposes only. We don't promise it's accurate, complete or useful, and relying on it is at your own risk. We aren't responsible for anything that results from you or anyone else relying on it.

Unless we expressly say otherwise, the Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available", with no promises, warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied. That includes any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement. We don't promise the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so this may not fully apply to you.

17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Corner Store, our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers and licensors, and those of Shopify and its affiliates, won't be liable for any injury, loss or claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind. That includes lost profits, revenue, savings or data, replacement costs, or similar damages. It applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or anything else, and covers anything arising from your use of the Services, any products bought through them, any errors or omissions in content, or any loss or damage from using content or products made available through the Services. It applies even if we were told it could happen.

18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Corner Store, Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers. In plain words, that means covering us for any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, that a third party brings because of (1) your breach of these Terms or the documents they refer to, (2) your violation of any law or anyone's rights, or (3) your access to and use of the Services.

We'll let you know about any claim we think you need to cover. If we're slow, you're still responsible unless the delay seriously hurts you. We can run the defence and settlement at your expense, including choosing the lawyers, but we won't settle anything that requires you to do something non-monetary without your OK (which you can't unreasonably withhold). You'll help with the defence, including by providing relevant documents.

19. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will still be enforced as far as the law allows. The rest of the Terms stay fully in effect.

20. Waiver and entire agreement
If we don't enforce a right or provision straight away, that doesn't mean we've given it up.

These Terms, together with any policies or operating rules we post on the site, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. They replace any earlier agreements, conversations or proposals, spoken or written, including earlier versions of these Terms.

If any wording is unclear, it won't be read against whoever wrote it.

21. Assignment
You can't delegate, transfer or assign this agreement, or any of your rights or duties under it, without our written consent. Any attempt to do so is void. We can transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and our rights and duties without your consent or notice.

22. Governing law
These Terms, and any separate agreements under which we provide you Services, are governed by [the laws of India]. You and The Corner Store agree that any dispute will be handled by the courts in [Chennai, Tamil Nadu], and you consent to their jurisdiction.

23. Headings
Headings are only there to make things easier to find. They don't change what the Terms mean.

24. Changes to these Terms
The latest version of these Terms is always on this page. We can update, change or replace any part of them by posting the changes on our website, so please check back now and then. We'll tell you about material changes as the law requires, and they take effect on the date in that notice. If you keep using the Services after changes go up, that means you accept them.
